Meet the Leadership Team

Michael Hollen

President, The Asbury Group

As the President of The Asbury Group (TAG), Michael Hollen works to create new partnerships and collaboration opportunities with both continuing care retirement communities and Asbury business partners in order to better serve older adults. In addition to serving as President, Michael is also the Vice President of Business Development for Asbury Communities, Inc., a not-for-profit system of continuing care retirement communities and senior home care services.

 

Prior to joining Asbury, Michael was Vice President of Operations for Sodexo Quality of Life Services, where he was responsible for Sodexo’s Seniors business portfolio that included Asbury Communities, as well as other senior living providers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York.

Nick Patel

President, The Asbury Group Integrated Technologies

Nick Patel joined The Asbury Group Integrated Technologies in April 2018, and has more than 15 years of experience in strategic planning, finance, operations, and sales management in both domestic and international markets, including with Fortune 500 companies. Nick brings a proven history of delivering results and customer satisfaction to his role with The Asbury Group Integrated Technologies where he is responsible for business growth as well as the strategic planning and execution of technology hardware and software initiatives and programs.

 

Nick joins The Asbury Group Integrated Technologies from CompuGain, a global provider of business solutions, technology consulting services and outsourced project services, where he served as CFO before being promoted to COO in January 2016. Nick’s prior work experience includes serving as a Senior Advisory Consultant with Fannie Mae, a Senior Project Manager with Freddie Mac, and financial and accounting roles with MCI, Sprint/Nextel, and the Associated Press.

 

Nick received his bachelor’s degree in management from England’s University of Manchester School of Business, and he is a Certified Public Accountant.

David Baker

Vice President and Chief Information Officer

David Baker has more than 35 years of experience in the acute and long-term health care industries specializing in information technology; project planning and construction; and facility management. In his dual role as Chief Information Officer for Asbury Communities, the nation’s 15th largest system of continuing care retirement communities, David has helped ensure that Asbury remains an industry leader in technology solutions. Prior to joining The Asbury Group Integrated Technologies, David served as Senior VP and Chief Information Officer for Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries.

 

David is a commissioner for the Center for Aging Services Technologies (CAST), the technology arm of LeadingAge, the professional association for aging services providers. He is a frequent presenter at international, national and state association conferences and at other provider organizations.

 

David holds a bachelor of science in business administration, a master’s degree in information systems, and is a Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM) focused in advanced organizational project and program management.

Paul Roos

Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Paul Roos joined The Asbury Group Integrated Technologies in 2017, and has a diverse career covering a variety of business and technology disciplines. He is a strategic leader who is also skilled in tactical execution and a master relationship builder. As part of the executive management team, Paul’s responsibilities are to manage overall operations while extending the organization’s reach with both new and existing clients.

 

Over the past 20 years, Paul has held leadership positions with Highmark Health, NCSI Consulting, and with the Governor of Pennsylvania. Currently, Paul serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania, where he served as President and CEO from 1998 to 2001. When he is not spending time with his wife and daughter, Paul is an avid car collector with a passion for Corvettes.

 

Paul received his bachelor’s degree in management with a concentration in information systems from the University of Maryland.  He is a U.S. Navy veteran with six years active duty including locations in Europe.

Yen Wang

Senior Director of Managed Services

Yen Wang has more than 25 years of experience in the long-term care industry.  She is a collaborative leader with a track record of delivering reliable application system training and support, motivating teams, satisfying users and reducing operating costs.  Yen has a broad scope of experience in business and information systems as IT leadership, management consultant, systems analyst, finance analyst and human resources lead.  She believes in leading by example and transparent leadership.

 

Yen’s 16 years of experience in information technology, focusing on project management, software selections, software implementation/conversion and support in the long-term care arena, are driven by her passion to assist business stakeholders to provide superior care for the older adult population.  Prior to her current position, Yen worked as an Application Support Analyst, Business Office Manager, Medical Records Coordinator, Corporate Billing Specialist and HR Director.   When she’s not working, Yen enjoys traveling, exploring new destinations, cultures and food with her husband and daughters.

Jeffrey Reed

Senior Director of Professional Services and Consulting

Jeffrey Reed is proven leader and trusted advisor of information technology solutions.  He has over 35 years of experience delivering IT results in various industry settings including education, manufacturing, healthcare and senior living.  Jeff prides himself on collaborative thinking, customer service and relationship building.

 

In 2000 Jeff’s entrepreneurial spirit guided him to start his own company focused on IT infrastructure and security.  Jeff built a strong team and together they developed an impressive reputation in the industry architecting, deploying and maintaining technical systems and security solutions for organizations of all sizes including Fortune 500 companies.  In 2006 his company developed one the industry’s first dissolvable and persistent security agents to perform an automated security posture assessment.

 

After successfully selling his business in 2010, Jeff has served in a variety of technology leadership and consulting positions where he continued to effectively build and develop teams of engineers to meet the needs of business clients.  He continues to be recognized as an expert in IT infrastructure design and has achieved well-rounded certifications including: Cisco CCNA/CCDA, HPE Master Accredited Solution Expert Networking, Aruba Certified Mobility Professional, VMware Certified professional, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).  Additionally Jeff also holds a Bachelors of Information Systems from University of Phoenix.

 

Outside of his IT career, Jeff has developed a passion for long distance running and participation in triathlons.  He also enjoys working on cars and motorcycles to relax between business challenges
